There is a great tradition of fairgrounds in France, entertaining the masses for many centuries. This museum is dedicated to displaying the rich and varied art forms that have associated these fairs since the 1850s. In the museum you will find some full scale reconstructions of fairground rides that illustrate the way that things used to be and the way that the art and the rides themselves have developed through the ages.
