Dupoux is a well known 20th Century architect who was responsible for building this magnificent church. It is a mixture of classical styles, primarily showing influences from Byzantine and Romanesque. The church was built between 1920 and 1947, and is renowned as containing some of the finest stained glass windows in the city, designed by the great artist Henri Pinta who has signed his work. A functioning church this is also a major tourist attraction.
