Located immediately to the south of the charming Place Gambetta in the oldest part of Perpignan, you will find this almost unique piece of architecture. The Campo Santo was built in the 14th Century, and is best accessed by a side door out of the great cathedral. It remains the only cloistered cemetery in the whole of France, filled with lines of white marble Gothic porticoes. It is a fascinating, beautiful and quite eerie place to visit.
