Without a doubt, this is one of the more peaceful and beautiful places you can visit in this town. A vast collection of graves range back for many hundreds of years and it is well worth a look around as there are several relatively famous French names buried here. The cemetery is surrounded by parkland which is a nice place to go for a walk and rest and relax away from the busy shopping streets of the town centre.
