This excellent museum is one of several that are located within the city centre. It is essentially a collection of local history, dedicated to the people and the town. There are a great deal of interesting artefacts and documents on display that range from traditional clothing and toys to musical instruments and maps. The collection has been arranged in an interesting and engaging manner to appeal to visitors of all ages and nationalities.
