This fine museum is one of several that stand at the heart of Carpentras and helps to form part of the rich cultural scene that has always been a point of pride among the local people. This museum is focussed on the study of local history and is made up of a great many displays and exhibitions that trace the history of the community and the people who have lived in it. There i a significant part of the museum dedicated to folklore and traditions of the region.
