The cathedral is now officially known as Saint Siffrien Church, but to all who know it, the cathedral has never stopped being a cathedral in the town, regardless of the way the church want to class it. The church was built in southern French Gothic styles in 15th and early 16th Century and a great deal of major changes was made to the front facade in the 17th Century. A vast looming structure, it dominates this area of the town and contains a great many treasures.
