Arcs Forest is located to the east of the community and is a large area of protected woodland that is synonymous with the area. There are many rare plants and animals that have made their homes in the forest and are able to be viewed from several of the pathways that lead through the forest. It is a fine place to spend a summer afternoon, away from the bustle of life and at one with the natural world.
