There is little question that this fantastic church is one of the most beautiful in all of Paris. Dedicated to an early Roman martyr of the Christian faith, the church has for many centuries served as a delightful place of worship in the heart of Paris. The church is thought to have begun construction in the early 1530s and took well over a hundred years to reach the marvellous finish that we see today. The structure is primarily Gothic with some hints of Italian influence, especially internally.
