The Old Port, or Port Vieux, is one of the historic centers of the city of Marseille. The city, of course, has a long and illustrious history connected to maritime affairs, because it is such a large Mediterranean port. The old port is today a place that tourists gather to observe some of the best preserved parts of the ancient port and to sit back and enjoy the selection of entertainment facilities, places to eat and drink in the area.
