This enormous glass palace was constructed in the last few years of the 19th Century, and was one of the main exhibits at the 1900 Great Exhibition in Paris. The beautiful building is used as an exhibition hall and has seen a great many diverse events take place within it in the long and illustrious history it has enjoyed. Since being reopened in 2005, after a twelve year refurbishment, the building is now home to a large collection of valuable artworks.
