Auguste Comte is one of the most famous philosophers to have lived in the 19th Century, and is a great tribute to the academics who were operating out of Paris at this time. He is attributed with coining the term ‘Sociology’ and has a reputation as being a hard hitting and interesting man of thought. This house in central Paris was his home and visitors are invited to see a little of how a great man once lived.
