There has always been a large Jewish population in Grenoble, and therefore when the Nazis invaded France in the late 1930s, the impact of their persecution of the Jews was felt here as hard as anywhere. This museum is dedicated to following the story of the persecution of the Jews and their transportation to concentration camps across Europe. It also focuses on the brave men and women who worked secretly to undermine the Germans authority in the French Resistance.
