Starting about half a mile to the south of the chateau, this vast forest is a wonderful piece of natural protected land in the area. Once the hunting grounds of the chateau, today the forest has become a popular place with visitors because of the vast array of walking and cycling tracks that run through it, allowing you to get back to nature and be amongst the great selection of birds, animals and plants that grow wild in this peaceful place.
