This enormous park is located on the western side of the town of Arcachon. It follows the line of the Arcachon Basin coast and attracts a great deal of interesting plant and wildlife. Like much of this area it has some wild elements. However a good deal of the park has been landscaped by the local authority. It is surrounded by many mature trees and within the park are many flowerbeds, shrubberies and lawns. It is a popular place of rest and relaxation in the community.
