Situated at the heart of the citadel in Corte, this museum is one of the most impressive and well loved on the island. There are a series of well put together exhibitions that attempt to tell the long and colourful history of the island of Corsica and its inhabitants. Through the use of artefacts that have been collected over a very many hundreds of years, the story of Corsica is brought to life both politically and socially by pictures and music as well.
