There are three islands situated off the coast of Cannes that make up the Lerin group. This is the middle sized of the three, and has always been an enchanting place, popular with visitors to Cannes. It is possible to access the island by boat from Cannes port. The island has a selection of chapels dotted across it, a large abbey building and a small museum dedicated to archaeology and history. It is a great day trip from Cannes.
