This centre is to be found at the very heart of the city and contains a wealth of cultural activities aimed at both young and old, locals and visitors. The centre has since its inception fast become a hive of activity, hosting art exhibitions, shows of local crafts, dance events and plays in the studio and many more interesting and informative works. There is a concentration on displaying and developing local talent, but there are also often visiting artists.
