This small pebbly beach is located at the very heart of the town, within sight of most of the major attractions, and close to the local facilities and amenities. The area is a popular place of rest and relaxation for local people and the many visitors that arrive throughout the summer months. The beach is a safe place for children because the main part of it is well sheltered from the crashing waves by the natural bay that the community sits in.
